It is hard to beat a black on black corvette. This 1977 model has only
27,768 miles and looks like it everywhere even under the car. Very well
Kept up and maintained. This corvette has spent its past 8 years in Georgia and was originally sold new in Ohio. Once you get behind the wheel you can easily realize that it is an actual mile car by the way it drives. Well documented and nicely equipped with several options. Everything works on the car including the clock and the air conditioning system has been retrofitted to R134 freon. A new air compressor has been installed and the original one is still with the car. The corvette is the L-48 engine with an automatic transmission. Please note the emblems on the hood have been added along with the L-82 style valve covers and chrome air breather lid. I do have the original valve covers and air cleaner lid and goes with the sale of the car. Survivor car with original paint and interior. The body fit is excellent. The interior is in #1 type of condition. All of the instruments look extremely fresh and are all original. The dash pad, door panels, seats and carpeting look near perfect. Even the cruise control tag is still on the steering column and the plastic caution label on how to adjust the seat belts can still be seen on the passenger side seat belt. Rare and unusual factory cloth and leather seat combination that would have had to be a special order. I have a copy of the original dealer invoice and it clearly shows that this came that way from the factory. You will not see a better survivor interior than this car! The paint does show well and is very presentable, but due to being 40 years old there is some checking from the older lacquer style paints that were used back in the day. By no means does the car need repainted entirely, but does show some aging. The engine compartment and chassis all look very presentable and somewhat still fresh. All the original exhaust system including the original catalytic converter is still on the car in excellent shape. The frame has no pitting or rust. Suspension components all look nice. Original jack and lug wrench along with the spare tire and wheel still with the car. Even the original spare tire lock assembly.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS TO THE 1977 MODEL CORVETTE: Last year for the straight back window glass Last year for the 160 MPH Speedometer Last year for a full size spare tire and wheel Exterior color black was reintroduced from being absent from 1970 through 1976 A new steering column design positioned the steering column three inches closer to the instrument panel more a much easier entry and exit. A new console held heater and a/c controls and accepted standard Delco radios due to its increased depth. First time an 8-Track tape player was available as an option. Engine paint went from orange to blue in early production The outside windshield trim became painted black as previous year for shiny and somewhat a polished look. The power window switches were relocated from the emergency brake to the center console as the previous years were. New option K30 speed control required automatic transmission. The headlight dimmer and windshield wiper/washer controls were located on steering column stalks. Sunshades were redesigned to permit swinging to the side windows. The interior rearview mirror mounting point was relocated from above the windshield to the windshield itself.
