Truly unique and a one-of-a-kind custom build on a 1956 Chevrolet.
This actual car was purchased from the owner of 30 years whom started and built this car to this extraordinary level. The previous owner was a Vo-Tech teacher for a school up close to the St. Louis area. The amount of hours and labor that has gone into this car cannot even be explained in this writeup. It is simply impressive when you see this car in person as the photos do not do it justice at all.
At most restoration shops today I could easily see $50,000 just in labor to get this car to the level that it is. It still is a project car and will need completion but some of the major details are as follow:
1957 Oldsmobile Roof with the tri-rear window and roof line that extends into the trunk lid.
1956 Packard style tail light assembly molded into the rear body.
2 ½” Chopped Top With All Inside Moldings Chopped As Well To Fit.
Extended Front Headlights but a 1953 Buick Style Custom Grill
1957 Chevrolet Bumpers Tucked and Custom Fitted To Fit Close And Near Flush To The Body Of The Car
Both Hood And Trunk Lids All Smoothed And Finished On Both Sides
“Pancaked” Hood & Trunk Lid
3” Channeled Body Over The Frame To Lower The Car And Give It The Stance That It Has
Custom Leg Pipe Covers Molding Into Lower Rockers Of The Car

Jaguar Rear End Assembly With In Board Disc Brake Setup & Coil Over Shocks
283 C.I. V8 Engine W/Powerglide Automatic Transmission
Engine All Sanded Down And Finished To Look As One Unit As The Heads & Intake Have All Been Molded In And Finished In Tangelo
Several parts included with the car such as most of the stainless trim, all rear window glass and trim, power brake booster, radiator, brake pedal mechanism, driver side and rear window crank mechanisms,
Exhaust manifolds, air cleaner, Packard Tail Light Lenses, and some other small parts. The car as stated is a project and not all complete and will need the seats, interior, wiring, fuel tank and fuel lines, brake lines, brake calipers, front and side window glass, carburetor, exhaust system, etc. Those things will still need to be fitted for the right fit.
The car has a great start with many of the hard parts already done and would be a fun project to finish and not have $100,000 into it although when finished could potentially be that type of car.
We do have a clear Missouri Title to the car and the VIN tag is intact.
Don’t miss an opportunity to obtain a unique and well started 1956 Chevrolet Project.
A Must See CAR!
