This one is ready for summer! Just in this 2001 Corvette Convertible has all of the right options and very low miles of only 15,606 actual. Basically like a new C5 Corvette but half the price of the original MSRP! Finished in Millennium Yellow With Black Leather Interior. Only 1,431 Yellow Corvette Convertibles were built in 2001. This Corvette is equipped with every option that I believe was available for this model year. Even this color and the manual transmission were extra cost options along with the Z51 Suspension. The car is clean in every way including the engine compartment and the chassis. Non-smoker vehicle and the interior looks as if no one has even sit in the seats. No wrinkles that are major, no wear or tear, the leather on all of the dash and door panels is as new, even the previous owner had an extra set of carpeted floor mats on top of the originals so they would not wear, sunvisors, window glass, weatherstripping, and convertible softop are in “as new” condition. I don’t think you will find a cleaner one nor kept up as good as this one. Adult owned and not driven in the rain or any inclimate weather. And it shows when you look around the car and at all of the black plastic pieces such as the lower windshield moldings as these tend to fade and show age. Not on this one! All clean and no fading. Definitely garaged kept and well maintained. In fact recently in 2009 the brake fluids and anti-freeze coolant was flushed and changed. Not too many people do that on their cars. Just another testimony that it was cared for and properly maintained throughout the years. The paint is very nice with little to no nicks other than a few that does happen on the lower parts of the panels on these models as they do sit very low to the ground. Alot of shine and luster still on this one. This color was introduced in 2000 and ended in 2004 which was the last year for this C5 model. I don’t think it can get much better than a yellow C5 convertible personally. The pictures do not do this color nor the car justice. Why buy a new one and lose all of that depreciation when you can buy one like this that is like new and have just as much fun in it. These models have stopped depreciating for the most part and if anything you will see them appreciate in the upcoming years. I have always said for the past year or so that these models are the best bang for your buck when buying a later model Corvette. They do have great technology and can be driven anywhere and get exceptional mile per gallon on fuel. The LS1 engine is powerful and with the 6-Speed Transmission just makes it that more fun to drive. This one will not disappoint you!

The C5 Corvette debuted in 1997 and the convertible model to follow
In 1998. The convertible weighed 114 pounds less than the C4 model
convertibles , yet was more than four times stiffer torsionally.
Lowering the convertible’s softop required release of two front latches, then pushing a button for release of a hard tonneau. If side windows were up, pushing the button also lowered them. The tonneau pivoted up and back, and the top folded manually into its storage bay. Raising the top was a reversal of these steps. Articulated geometry of the bows eliminated rear latches. The rear window glass and heated.
The lowering and raising of the softop is simple and easy in just a matter of seconds.
For the first time since 1962 this “C5” generation convertible models have a separate trunk with outside access. The convertible’s storage space was larger than virtually all competing soft top two-seaters at that time and twice that of the previous Corvette generation’s convertible. Even with the top folded down, storage space was 11.1 cubic feet, adequate for two golf bags.

This actual Corvette was built on January 8th, 2001 in Bowling Green Kentucky.
This Corvette was originally delivered to Universal Chevrolet in Cleveland Georgia. The car had 70 miles when sold new in August of 2001. We recently purchased this vehicle from an individual out of Kentucky whom he bought it from and individual out of Florida. The complete history is documented in the CarFax Vehicle History Report that goes with this car along with the window sticker, build sheet, invoice, original owners manual, sales brochure, and previous owner name and contact numbers along with an odometer statement. The previous owner purchased in July of 2014 with the miles showing at that time of only 12,201.
