We acquired this 2009 Chevrolet Colorado in July of 2017 from the widow of the original owner. He had set down and ordered this truck out with the 5.3L V8 from what she told me. He had passed away a few years before I acquired the truck and she had intentions on keeping it, but realized she was not driving it and someone else should enjoy the truck and use it for what it was intended to do so. The truck had only 14,000 miles when I purchased it and we have used it and kept it in our family ever since July of 2017. The truck now shows 39,196 miles and is actual and very low for the model year. The truck has a good history and we did title the vehicle, so technically it is now a two owner truck. We just recently decided to put it up for sale, although we will probably be sorry down the road as I am likely never to find another one as nice nor with the V8 engine. You cannot even get a V8 engine in the newer body style Colorado trucks and this was the first year that the V8 was offered on a Colorado back then. This lasted from 2009 through 2012 model years and most are all 4WD and crew cabs. This is about the only one I have seen in a 2WD form and an extended cab with a short bed. The truck is clean inside and out, as well as underneath. No rust or real corrosion as it has been garaged kept since new.
The paint is exceptional on the truck. No fading or oxidizing. There are a few minor nicks which is to be expected, but I believe this truck will please most anyone and not disappoint. There is not any door dings or dents on this truck as well. I have added PPF (Paint Protection Film) on the entire hood and front end to prevent those chips and nicks from highway driving. The window glass is all good, the engine compartment is very clean, and the interior is “as new” and is a non-smoker vehicle. I have added weathertech floor mats and have used them the entire time I have driven the truck. I even put a towel down on the seats when driving to prevent excessive wear on the upholstery. The seats, carpet, dash, door panels and all trim are still fresh and look just like new. The seats have no wear showing on them and no stains on the carpeting.
The inside of the bed is new as the original owner installed a new Bed Rug right after he got it home. There are no scratches or dents in the bed and is just like it was when it was delivered new. This Bed Rug can also be removed if desired as it simply is installed with velcro with adhesive on both sides. We have added several nice accessories and I will list those at the bottom of this writeup. The added bed tarp that is painted to match the truck, also has a lock built into it to keep your belongings safe. It does fit nice and does not leak. The wheels are the stock 16 inch ones and believe it or not, this truck came with these. I was told by the woman that her husband ordered the truck that way and received a $280 credit back from MSRP which does show on the window sticker. The tires were replaced with new Michelin Defender LTX M/S’s size 235/75R15 all four matching and have plenty of tread life left on them. There are many aftermarket wheels and tires that can be installed on the truck if desired.
This truck does have the upgraded LT Package which consists of the following. Front disc, rear drum brakes, 16-inch wheels, 60/40 split-bench front seat with fold down armrest, air conditioning, cruise control, ebony carpeting and all weather floor mats, color-keyed grill surround and center bar, color-keyed bumpers with dark gray front fascia, chrome trimmed interior accents, deep-tinted rear windows, driver and front passenger frontal air bags with passenger sensing system, Stabilitrak (includes traction control), OnStar Communications, XM Satellite Radio, Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel and foglamps. This truck also has all power equipment including power windows, power door locks with keyless entry, power mirrors, power brakes and power rack and pinion steering. The original radio is still intact and is XM capable and does have a single disc cd player. Being that this is an extended cab model, you do have access with all four doors opening. The rear two doors swing out the other direction making it easy to access the rear area. There are two small seats, so the truck can ride two persons in the back. Also underneath those two seats are storage compartments so that makes it nice to store items out of the way. There is plenty of cab and leg room in these trucks and are comfortable to take on road trips. I average close to 20 mpg in the city and upwards of 25 mpg on the highway.
Plenty of power with the 300 hp 5.3L V8 engine. It will impress you.

The color is called Aqua Blue Metallic and the photos do not do it justice. The interior is called Ebony, but is a black cloth upholstery and a gray mesh in the center sections of the seats. Nice sounding truck with that Magnaflow performance exhaust system that we installed.

This truck is nicely documented back to original owner. Original window sticker included, original manuals, both sets of original keys and key fobs, original sales brochure, original service history with oil changes and routine maintenance, original title history, Clean CarFax Vehicle History Report, and receipts on many of the accessories listed. The truck was sold new in Illinois and spent its entire life in that state until 2017 when we brought it back to southwest Missouri. I have always used Mobil 1 Synthetic Motor Oil in the truck and have had the anti-freeze coolant flushed, new serpentine belt installed and a new battery as well. Just recently serviced and ready to go. Tires have always been properly rotated and new correct A/C Delco wiper blades installed. The truck turns heads everywhere you go and people are shocked when they see the factory V8 under the hood. Alot of miles left on this one.
