1977 Corvette T-Top Sport Coupe. Finished in original Medium Red with black leather interior. Two owner car with 47,802 miles and documented nicely. Newer repaint and very presentable. The car shines well and shows good. The car has the numbers matching L-48 engine with an automatic transmission. The body lines are very nice and most of the weatherstripping has been replaced. The rear suspension has been redone by previous owner and does have a rear fiberglass leaf spring for a better ride. The car has the original interior with the exception of the front carpet is new. The seats, door panels, steering wheel, dash pad, all look nice and fresh with little to no wear and no cracks in the material as mostly seen in other cars. The window glass is original to the car and everything is operating except for the clock. Even the cruise control still is operating. This corvette is documented with the original window sticker, original warranty book with original owners name and info, owners manual, leather t-top storage bags, original second owner title, and many other literature pertaining to the 1977 model Corvette. Nice car the can be shown but driven and priced to sell at $17,995.

1977 was the last year for the straight back window along with the full size spare tire and wheel and the 160 M.P.H. Speedometer. This was the first year for optional cruise control, only available on the automatic transmissions. This was also the first year for the new blue engine color and leather seats became standard for the first time. A new console held power window switches and a new design for the heater and air conditioning controls was incorporated. The steering wheel was moved 2 inches closer to the dash for better ease of entry and exit. The trim around the front windshield was switched to “non glare” in 77 models. The factory burglar alarm system was moved from the front drivers side fender to the door lock itself in late 77 model corvettes. This particular corvette was a late production one. This one was built on Wednesday July 13th, 1977. These model Corvettes are increasingly becoming more and more popular as they are good driving cars but yet still much more affordable than the 60’s and early 70’s models.
