UPDATE: New stainless steel sleeved brake calipers just installed!
This 1977 Corvette has been well maintained and driven to local cruise-ins and car shows to keep the car exercised. This car can be driven just about anywhere if desired but has not been driven in the rain or inclimate weather. Always garaged and serviced. The Corvette has only 15,095 actual miles and does have some documentation with it. The car is finished in correct Classic White with striking Red Leather interior. This is a very nice color combination and is just like the very first 300 Corvettes made that were all this color combo.

EXTERIOR:
The body lines and panel fit is nice on this 1977. From what I can tell the body is all original with no evidence or repairs or damage. The car was repainted at one time and done nicely. The car does have a clear coated finish that shines nicely and will last much longer than the original lacquer finish. The door jamb areas were left untouched and do match up with the new paint well. The labels are still intact on the door jambs and the weatherstripping is still excellent. The trim around the t-tops fit nicely and the original window glass is still on the car and in great shape. Both the front and rear bumpers are still the original urethane ones, but are both in excellent shape and do not show signs of age or cracking. The paint matches up well on these too. The white exterior color makes for a nice crisp look on these 70’s model Corvettes. The original aluminum wheels have been polished out to a show shine finish and new correct GoodYear GR-70-15 white lettered tires have been installed. These tires alone are $350 a piece!

INTERIOR:
The interior on this Corvette is original and in “like new” condition still. The leather seats show little to no wear and have no cracks or tears on them. Carpeting, door panel, dash pad assembly and gauges are also all original and in excellent show condition. And the best part is that the interior has not been restored! This alone shows just how well the car has been kept and cared for. The gauges do function and operate like the should and the original radio goes with the car. Currently the car has a nice aftermarket AM/FM stereo with a single disc cd player. This can easily be put back to stock if desired. Original jack and lug wrench are intact along with the brackets and strap for the t-top roof carrier that was an option for this year only.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND CHASSIS:
The engine compartment and chassis are mostly original and in great shape. We did refinish the engine block in the blue paint along with the valve covers and new gaskets. Also a chrome air cleaner lid was added but do have an original black one if wanted. The master cylinder has been rebuilt along with the brake calipers. Fan blade and pulleys have also been refinished for that original fresh look. The engine, transmission and drivetrain are all original to this car and are numbers matching. The exhaust system is still in nice shape and the frame on this car is original with no rust. Original spare tire and lock still underneath the car as well. Very nice and presentable and as far as we know the car needs nothing. Runs and drives out smoothly and the front and rear alignment has recently been done.

Original invoice included with the car along with several other documents including title history, odometer statements, and receipts done on routine maintenance over the past few years. Also an original sales brochure, owners manual, two sets of keys are also included with the sale of this Corvette. The mileage is accurate to the car and is very low at only 14,000. The car has been driven approx. 2,500 miles since June of 2015.
Everything works on this Corvette including the air conditioning, wipers, headlights, etc.

This Corvette in 1977 was loaded and had an original MSRP of $10,588.65

Standard features did include power 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, positraction rear axle, 4-wheel independent suspension, high energy ignition system, anti-theft audio alarm system, custom interior, tinted glass and special intrumentation.

This was the 19,301th car built of out 49,213 for this model year.
Classic White was the #1 color in 1977 as 9,408 were painted this color.
This was the first year for the cruise control option like this one has.
This was also the last year for the straight back window glass on a Corvette.
This was also the last year to see the 160 mph speedometer as they went to 140
In 1978 through late 79.
This was also the first year to see the optional sport mirrors like this one has.
Another new option was the ZX2 convenience group like this Corvette has which consisted of dome light delay, headlight warning buzzer, underhood light, low fuel warning light, interior courtesy lights and a right side visor mirror. This was a $22.00 option.

OTHER KEY HIGHLIGHTS TO THE 1977 MODEL YEAR INCLUDE:
A new console held heater and air conditioning controls and accepted standard Delco radios due to its increased depth. A new steering column positioned the steering wheel two inches closer to the instrument panel to provide more of an “arms out” driving position, and easier entry and exit.
A new leather wrapped steering wheel was introduced.
The V54 roof rack option was designed to hold the T-Top panels, permitting use of the full luggage compartment when panels were removed.
The alarm activator was moved from the driver-side fender to the driver-side door lock later in production.
Leather seats were standard for the first time in 1977, but a cloth-leather combination could be substituted at no cost.
Between August 23 and September 7, 1976, Flint Engine changed from orange paint to blue for Corvette engines. Thus, early production 1977 models were orange, later production were blue.
The headlight dimmer and windshield wiper / washer controls were located on steering column stalks. Sunshades were redesigned to permit swinging to the side windows. The interior rearview mirror mounting point was relocated from above the windshield to the windshield itself.

Another nice example of a 1977 Corvette that is ready for show or go!
These models are still affordable and with this low of mileage on the car, it would make for a good investment.
