Unique and extremely rare is this 2008 Chevrolet HHR Panel 2LT. This vehicle originally was sold new in Florida and has been the owners personal vehicle for the past 5 years now. It is a head turner and you will not see another one like it especially in this rare color that was only offered for a three year period ending in 2008. The HHR was a huge hit when it was introduced in 2006 to compete with the Chrysler PT Cruiser at that time. In 2007 Chevrolet introduced the Panel to resemble the original ones back in the early years. Sadly the HHR ended production after 2011 and the rest is history. Most of these HHR Panels were white in color and base models with no options. This one was ordered out specifically in this color and the desirable 2LT package with other nice options. The color is called Sunburst Orange Metallic and is absolutely beautiful! When the sun hits this color the metallic really stands out. It looks as if it was custom painted and built but no this is exactly like the way it came from the factory. A real Hot Rod right off the assembly line! The HHR Panel does get excellent fuel economy, and EPA estimated 30 MPG highway - with highway-driving range of up to 450 miles. Smooth, windowless side panels and rear cargo doors with no handles makes for a blank canvas for business advertising or custom graphics. Rear cargo doors open via an instrument panel button and by the keyless entry remote fob as well. Durable, stain-resistant flat load floor with available non skid cargo mats. Nearly 63 cubic feet of cargo space, including three storage compartments in the load floor that are ideal for holding small items such as laptops and other electronic devices. Handle items up to eight feet long with the passenger seat folded flat. Payload capacity of up to 900 pounds. Ten tie downs. Now what we did was remove the original storage compartment and hardware and installed a complete rear seat with headrests and seat belts to hold up to five passengers other than just the two that it would only hold left original. We did save all of the original parts and have stored them away and go with the sale of this vehicle. We were fortunate to find a matching cloth seat with all hardware and safety belts and this simply bolted right in without ending harm or modifications to the vehicle.
This makes it for a more unique ride now being able to haul more than just the two people. We also added the optional carpeted rear cargo mat with the HHR logo and went as far as to buy a weathertech cargo mat as well to protect that. We also have front weather tech mats to protect the carpet from dirt and debris. Paint protection film, (PPF), has also been applied to the hood, door edges and rear fender sides of the panel doors to protect the paint from stone and rock chips. This vehicle has always been stored inside and garage kept and never driven on gravel roads and smoked in. It is in as new of condition as you will find and we never actually hauled much of anything in the vehicle so all of the inside panels are not scratched and scuffed up as you will see in any that are for sale. The seat upholstery is like new with little to minimal wear and all of the door rubbers, window glass, etc is very nice and clean. The stock original chrome
17” wheels are in excellent shape with no curb markings. Chrome wheel locks included.
We purchased this Panel on May 28th, 2015 from the original owner in Ruskin Florida with an odometer reading of 6,953 miles. The original owner kept it for a second vehicle where he showed it at different times. Unfortunately due to his health was the reason we were able to but the vehicle. We looked for over a year to find one like this and let me tell you back then it was difficult. We drove the vehicle back to Missouri and that is where it has been for the past 5 years. The HHR currently has 130,000 miles and by looking at the car it still looks like a 20,000 mile one. No disappointments at all and we serviced the vehicle regularly using Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil and gm filters. We have had the transmission fluid changed twice and the antifreeze coolant flushed as well. Recently we have installed all new Pirelli four season tires, new battery in 2019, power steering motor, new front brake rotors, new front lower control arms and a four wheel alignment, cabin filters, air filters, spark plugs replaced, and the list goes on. Every receipt is documented in a portfolio that goes with the sale of the vehicle. If and when anything might go wrong we would fix it properly. This vehicle has been a very low maintenance one and I would not be afraid to drive it another 100,000 miles. The engine runs out strong and does not use any oil whatsoever and there are no leaks underneath the car. It is clean underneath and inside the engine compartment. I cannot stress enough just how clean and well kept this vehicle is as we took care of it for all of those miles. It has been driven by the owner personally and for our business and the miles are mostly all highway as we travel to look at these classic corvettes all over the country and have them shipped back into our facility. We did install a small trailer hitch receiver but I can honestly tell you we have never pulled anything with it. The paint still shines well and we recently did a paint correction removing any swirl marks or scratches and waxed the vehicle with Chemical Guys products. The vehicle is ready for show or go and needs nothing. Everything works including the air conditioning and factory cd player. We did add a white faced overlay on the instrument panel so the gauges are more readily readable. Other than that the vehicle is all stock and performs exceptionally. Very peppy and fun to drive.

As I mentioned this Panel was loaded and came with several options including:
