One-Of-A-Kind car that is a real true Survivor that doesn’t need restoring! Must See!
What we have to offer is truly a real Survivor 1977 Corvette that doesn’t need restoring. We acquired this Corvette back in July of 2015 from the original owner with only 4,533 actual miles. This car was in Pennsylvania where it had been its entire life up until we acquired the car. Once we purchased the car and had it shipped back from PA to MO we went over the car and did a nice cosmetic detailing of the car including new correct Goodyear Steel Guard Tires mounted on a new set of chrome plated aluminum wheels. Those tires alone are $530 each and those new wheels today from Top Flight Automotive are $2,200! A set of original Firestone 500 tires mounted on an original set of Rally wheels are included with the car as those would be correct for Judging if desired. The car has all of the original drivetrain, engine, transmission, rear end, but the radiator has recently been replaced due to age but the original one was kept as it could possibly be restored.
After we purchased this car and detailed it we sold it to a man within 100 miles of our business in June of 2016 where he has kept the car up until now and has decided to sell. He has owned this car for almost nine years and the current odometer reading is 6,047. The car still looks and drives new and he has kept the car stored inside with fans blowing on the car like the original owner had done to keep the air circulating around the car to prevent moisture and corrosion as commonly seen. The car has been started regularly and driven just enough to keep everything in working order.
This car is like going back in time to 1977 and buying a new Corvette and is one of the nicest originale examples that has come through our business and the documentation with the car is amazing.

EXTERIOR PAINT:
The paint on this Corvette shows well. Both the original front and rear bumpers are original and have no cracking nor warping as commonly seen on an original car. The body is original and the paint shows well. The car is 48 years old so it is expected to show some flaws but are minimal. All of the original window glass is in excellent condition with no scratches or scuff markings. The T-Tops fit very nice as well. The emblems all look nice and fresh with no fading or evidence or wear. Again, I cannot stress enough as to how this car was taken care of and preserved.
INTERIOR:
The interior on this Corvette is about as nice and as original as they come. There is no fading, cracking, or wear on the original leather seats, door panels, dash pad, carpeting, or anything. I would put this one up to about any out there to compare. All of the gauges look nice and fresh with no dust or fading behind those lenses. The original floor mats are very rare and unique and another set of floor mats are included to preserve those originals.
The original clock and radio is currently not working as they were but recently quit. We haven’t yet had a chance to diagnose what it will take to get those back in working order. The factory air conditioning is all intact but is currently not blowing cold a/c.
CHASSIS AND FRAME:
The undercarriage is extremely nice and clean. Back when we had this car in 2015 we did do a nice cosmetic detailing removing the rear leaf spring and refinishing, replaced the original rear y-pipe and mufflers due to age, the rest of the original exhaust and catalytic converter are still in tact and do not need replacing, removed the front wheel bearings and repacked, and did a nice detail on the frame and underbody. The frame is in excellent condition with no rot or rust. The valve cover gaskets have been replaced and the engine bay was lightly detailed to bring the car back up to the level it is in. A chrome air cleaner lid was added for looks but do have an original black one included.
INTERESTING 1977 FACTS:
This was the last year to see the straight back window and the 160 MPH speedometer.
Last year for a full size spare tire and wheel.
The deluxe leather interior became standard equipment in 1977.
This was the first year to see a cruise control option but only offered on an automatic transmission.
Although the body was basically the same as 1976, there were no Stingray badging.
Engine paint changed from orange to blue in early 1977.
An all new leather wrapped steering wheel was introduced for the first time.
The steering column was positioned two inches closer to the instrument panel to provide more of an “arms out” driving position, and easier entry and exit.
The sunshades were redesigned to swing to the side windows.
A new redesigned console held heater and a/c controls and repositioned the power window switches.
The inside rear view mirror was attached to the windshield instead of being attached above it to the header bar.
The trim around the windshield was finished in black to prevent “non glare”.
The 1977 models incorporated the headlight dimmer switch into the windshield wiper and turn signal stalk as 1976 models the dimmer switch was still on the floor.
The ZX2 convenience group option included dome light delay, headlight warning buzzer, underhood light, low fuel warning lamp, interior courtesy lights and right side visor mirror.
Later in the 1977 production the alarm activator was moved from the driver-side fender to the driver-side door lock.
