What we have here is a very unique and rare 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Convertible. This was the ninth time a Corvette was to pace the Greatest Spectacle in Racing. Option Code Z4Z there were only 500 of these replicas built to commemorate the Indy 500 Race held on May 27th, 2007. What makes this one so unique is that this Corvette was number 3 of only 57 that was delivered to the Indy 500 for track use known as Festival Cars. Celebrities, Indy Car Drivers, and other important people of the race were allowed to drive these cars during the race and leading up to it for parades and events pertaining to the event. This example has only 26,955 actual miles and is documented back to new with an unbelievable amount of actual 2007 Indy 500 memorabilia and signed models and documents from the actual Indy 500 winner.

Additionally, all Pace Car Replicas featured the 3LT package plus the 400-horsepower LS2 V8 and the added performance hardware included in the Z51 Performance Package which included cross-drilled brake rotors.
This Corvette was not delivered to a specific dealer instead it was charged to on the window sticker to GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION and built for a Particular Person or Reason and delivered to Indianapolis Indiana Dealer #101 in Zone #35.

The 3LT equipment package included a power convertible soft top, head-up display, heated seats, dual power sport seats with lumbar support, power-telescoping steering column leather wrapped with manual tilt, universal home remote transmitter, seat, mounted side impact air bags, 6-way power passenger seat, and all power equipment.

This Corvette was equipped with the optional 6-Speed Paddle-Shift Automatic Transmission. The Pace Car Model came with just about everything that would have been optional on the other Corvette models.
The Original MSRP on this Corvette was $68,245.00

SPECIFICS ON THIS PACE CAR:
This was the 3rd Pace Car Produced by GM with serial number as a real pace car that was delivered to Indianapolis to be used as a support vehicle for the May 27, 2007 Indy 500. The License plate in the front window is the one used during the race.
It comes with the original build sheet from GM.
It also contains the original window sticker from GM
The Jacket and hat that the driver wore are to stay and go with this car.
The laminated certification letter that states this car participated and was used during the week of the race as a support vehicle.
The original Pit Pass to the Indy 500 pits is still centered under the mirror in the windshield. This Pit pass is considered valid for future events at Indy and allows the car to go on the track at designated events.
There were 57 support pace cars used during the Indy 500 in 2007. The number 53 in the corner of the driver side windshield designates the official number of this car during the festival parade in downtown Indianapolis. The matching #53 license plate in the front window came from the original owner. There is also an original die cast model that came with each pace car in the trunk sealed in plastic.

There have been several modifications to this Pace Car however all of the original pieces and parts are still with this car including the original wheels and tires which are still in excellent showroom condition.
One of the real unique and extremely rare modifications is the added high mounted rear convertible deck lid with the full strobe Whelan LED lights. The original painted rear convertible deck lid is still with this car and goes with the sale. This replicated the actual Pace Car that paced the race. There are only two real pace cars with strobe decks.

Savini Custom Painted Gold Aluminum Wheels With Michelin Tires Replaced in 2021 at a cost of $7,594.88
The wheels and tires were upgraded to 20-inch rear, tire size 295/30ZR-20
And the fronts to a 19-inch tire size 255/35ZR-19.
The original tires and wheels were included and were 18-inch front and 19-inch rear. These new ones do not rub and look sharp on the car matching the bold gold pace car graphics.

There is so much documentation and memorabilia you literally need to see in person to appreciate everything that goes with this car. You will never see another one like this one with the LED strobe lights and I know none have the kind of paperwork and story behind them like this one!
