Another nice low-mileage C6 Corvette up for sale. This 2006 model has only 25,569 actual miles and was owned by an older, retired gentleman whom kept the car in excellent shape and maintained the car very well. The Corvette is finished in Victory Red with Titanium Gray/Black leather interior and a black cloth canvas soft top that is in near- perfect condition. This Corvette was optioned with the 3LT package, power convertible soft top, Z51 performance package, AM/FM CD/DVD Navigation radio, automatic with paddle shifters, and chrome wheels. The car features the 6.0L LS2 400 HP V8 Fuel-Injected Engine and a 6-Speed Paddle-Shift automatic transmission. The overall condition is very good, and the paint was recently ceramic-coated at a cost of $1,395, done locally in Springfield, Missouri. The paint and trim are all nice, and the window glass has no chips or nicks as well. The only known issue that I see is that the headlight lenses are starting to show some aging, as commonly seen on the C6 models, as the 2005 model was the first year to see the exposed headlights since 1962. The engine and drivetrain are all stock and original, as well as the stock original exhaust system.
The interior is also in excellent shape with no signs of smoking or wear on any of the parts, such as the carpeting, seats, door panels, etc. The car still has the stock original radio, and it sounds nice, in my opinion, with the factory Bose speakers.
The Corvette shows no signs of any paint work or repairs and presents itself like new.
This Corvette was originally sold new at:
Cheek Auto Mall
1650 N Main
Miami, OK 74354
The Original MSRP was $63,420.00
VIN # 1G1YY36U365130155
Only 1,881 convertibles were finished in Victory Red for the 2006 model year.
Included with the sale of this Corvette is the original window sticker, original owner’s manual, a convertible top operation card, Navigation disc, clean CarFax Vehicle History Report, service records and receipts, and both sets of key fobs and keys. The car does come with a nice car cover and two sets of floor mats. The original ones and a nice set of Lloyd carpeted floor mats with the C6 logo. The harmonic balancer was replaced in August of 2024, and all fluids were changed in late 2025, including the brake fluid and anti-freeze coolant. The chrome wheels are a nice upgrade as they are the ZR1 style and look great on this car. The tires have also been replaced with a set of Nitto brand ones, in the correct sizes that came on the car when new.
One nice added accessory is the Corvette Windrestrictor with the C6 logo between the seats. There is actually a control to turn it on and off, as it does light up. This was an officially GM-licensed product and cost over $400 when it was new.
The C6 Corvette Generation was first introduced in 2005 with several body and chassis changes, and nearly every dimension changed. It did retain the C5’s front-engine, rear transmission layout, and all-new exposed headlights that had not been seen on a Corvette since 1962. These new headlights used Xenon high-intensity discharge low-beam projector lenses and tungsten-halogen high-beam projectors under clear polycarbonate covers. Also under the covers were parking lights, side-turn markers, and daytime running lights, all set into body-colored housings.
Several options made their first Corvette appearance. These included a DVD-based navigation system, OnStar, XM Satellite radio, heated seats and seat-mounted side impact air bags. A power convertible top, last available in Corvettes with the 1962 model, was optional.
A new three-spoke steering wheel replaced the four-spoke unit used exclusively in 2005 models.
A new 6-speed automatic transmission was optional and came with paddle-shifters on the steering wheel.
For the C6 models came a new 4th-generation Chevy small block, the 400-hp LS2. Displacement increased from 346ci (5.7L) to 364ci (6.0L). Torque increased to 400 Foot-pounds. The Ls2 had numerous refinements, including increased camshaft lift, a higher compression ratio (10.9:1), lighter exhaust manifolds and a wingless aluminum oil pan that improved oil control during high G-force driving while reducing oil capacity from 6.5 to 5.5 quarts with filter. Redline for the LS2 was 6500rpm, compared to LS1’s 6000rpm.
The wheel size also increased from the previous generation to 18x8.5” front, and 19x10” in the rear.
The optional Z51 Performance Package, which this Corvette has, includes more content than the previous generation. The cost was $1,695.00 and included higher spring rates and shocks, larger sway bars, larger cross-drilled brake rotors; engine oil, transmission, and power steering fluid coolers.
The 3LT equipment package included a head-up display, 7-speaker system, XM Satellite radio, power-telescoping steering column, auto-dimming inside and outside mirrors, memory package, adjustable sport bucket seats with perforated inserts, heated seats, and Homelink (garage door) transmitter.
